This BYOB Pottery Painting Event takes place on Friday and Saturday Evenings from 6pm to 9pm
Price is $20 per person
plus the cost of the piece you choose to paint
and includes instruction in a variety of pottery painting techniques
Pieces will be fired and ready for pick up according to the date given on your Pottery Pick-up Card
All items are food safe, dishwasher and microwave safe

WELCOME TO THE CLAY POT!
The Clay Pot is a pottery studio located in Spotswood, New Jersey. We opened our doors in 2010 and unlike the other paint-your-own pottery places, we also offer our clients the option to work with clay. People of all ages come to our studio to experience the thrill of turning a lump of clay into a fantastic piece of art by taking part in our wheel-experiences and wheel- lessons.
Explore our website and you will find more than just pottery-painting and pottery wheel classes - we offer a variety of workshops!
The Clay Pot grows every year with the support of its staff, students, and local community. We’re excited to share our passion for clay and creativity with you.

Pottery Studio
After-School Clay Program 2024
Love will be in the air as you and your valentine create your own pottery pieces!
You will each have the choice of making a small bowl, small vase or small plate with the help of our potter.
Our potter will first show you the steps involved in throwing a piece of clay on the wheel
Then will work with you to create your own special piece
Your pieces will be painted the same day using engobes - a colored liquid clay available in limited colors.
Once completely dried, your pieces will be fired in our kiln.
Finished pieces will be available for pick up about one week after your visit.
Each couple will receive a sweet surprise to take home with them and enjoy!
$140 per couple - Reservations required.
